Training workshop in Turtle Conservation

EFS organized a training workshop in Turtle Conservation in collaboration with a Sear Turtle expert from the United States. The Environment Friends Society of Bahrain hosted a four-day workshop at the Fisherman’s Society, Muharraq.

The workshop was run by  Dr. Jeffrey Miller, a marine turtle expert from the United States – who conducted the workshop alongside Dr. Khawla Al-Muhannadi, President of the Environment Friends Society, leader of the Bahrain Turtle Rescue Team and National Campaign for Sea Turtle Conservation.

The workshop targeted the newly established Bahrain Turtle Conservation Team and opened the opportunity for staff working at public and private departments working in areas related to marine conservation and also to other NGOs and volunteers.
